==Strategy== Since Burrowers cancel their attack and hide underground after taking any kind of damage, they often require whittling them down over several turns or taking them out in one or two strong attacks. Blocking enemy spawns is highly recommended if killing them in one strong attack is not possible, since damaged Burrowers will re-emerge in the following turn and could overwhelm the player with new enemy spawns. Burrowers can be instantly killed by water or a chasm that appears on a tile they are occupying. For example, a burrower can be killed from a tidal wave on Archive, by the water created when the dam is destroyed, or by hitting them once if they are occupying a Cracked Tile. However, as they have the stable attribute and can't be moved, this requires a degree of luck. Setting them on Fire will damage them for 1 damage, causing them to crawl back right before their attack. Note that fire inflicted on a Burrower will disappear when they hide and re-emerge next turn; however, A.C.I.D. will persist. Since Burrowers can not end their movement on top of Ice Tiles (but can move through them), they can make the Pinnacle Robotics island easier if they're present on the threat scanner for the island preview; their movements become more predictable in maps with a lot of frozen lakes. Vek
