Alpha Spider is one of the Alpha Vek from Into The Breach.

Alpha Spiders have very limited movement, but have the unique ability of throwing a Spiderling Egg on any column or row they are aligned with. This egg traps all surrounding entities in webs upon landing and will hatch into a Spiderling on the next turn. The Spiderling's stats from the Alpha Spider are identical to that of the regular Spiders.
As a rare Vek, Alpha Spiders cannot spawn on the first island are are limited to one spawn per mission.

With 4HP, Alpha Spiders are sturdier than regular Spiders and require more damage to take out. Still, dealing them is similar to the regular Spider; try to deploy your Mechs so that at most only one of them is webbed, then take out or wear down the Alpha Spider with ranged weapons, or wide area targeting weapons that can damage both the sticky egg and the Alpha Spider. If you cannot take it out in one strong hit, look to push it so that it falls on water or blocks an enemy spawn point.
