Alpha Firefly is one of the Alpha Vek from Into The Breach.

The Alpha Firefly shoots projectiles in a direct line, similar to the Taurus Cannon weapon without push.
Strategy[ | ]
The same strategy for the standard Firefly can be used to deal with the Alpha Firefly. They do have more health and deal more damage though, so blocking its projectile with your own Mechs is a lot more dangerous, likely fatal in the early-game on higher difficulties.
That said, if the Alpha Firefly goes early in the Attack Order, it can be pushed to force the projectile to take care of other enemies. Just like the standard Firefly, moving the Alpha or its target should still be done carefully, to avoid exposing Buildings to further danger.
