The Alpha Blobber maintains a safe distance from mechs, attempting to attack by spawning Alpha Blobs onto any tile across from them, in the row or columns they can move in. Alpha Blobs always explode last in the attack order during the enemy turn they were spawned, and damage all adjacent tiles for 2.
Alpha Blobbers are capped at one spawn per mission (regular Blobbers included) and cannot spawn on island 1, nor can it co-exist with the normal and alpha variants of the Spider and Plasmodia.
