==Strategy== The Techno-Scarab functions similarly to the Ranged-class [[Artillery Mech]], with its default '''Explosive Goo''' weapon allowing it to target one tile for damage and push all adjacent units. Like its other Secret Squad counterpart mech, it suffers from being Cyborg-class, which imposes a reactor core penalty to power any other non-Cyborg equipment. One trait that sets Explosive Goo apart from other ranged weapons is the ability to increase its target range via an upgrade, at a cheap cost of 1 reactor core. The additional range targets a tile in front of the one chosen and comes with mixed benefits. On the one hand, this allows the Techno-Scarab to spread damage among two targets and push up to 6 tiles surrounding the two chosen, which greatly assists it in controlling enemy positions. On the other hand, it is forced to shoot two tiles if the upgrade is active, which can put the Techno-Scarab in situations where it could unwantedly target a building or push an enemy to hit a building. Thus, its an upgrade that can offer excellent utility for a cheap cost, but its downsides should also be carefully considered depending on the mission and the map.
